The interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, announced the intention to introduce a performance-based salary system for doctors through a pilot program that could be extended nationwide. He emphasizes that the current system does not reflect the differences in work and results among doctors, proposing additional compensation for those with difficult specialties or who work more.

Cseke Attila sent a proposal to the Ministry of Labor to integrate performance criteria into salaries and suggested evaluating the program after two years. He also addresses the issue of the lack of doctors in rural areas, proposing that graduates with excellent results be able to choose positions in major university centers, while those with poorer results be directed towards rural areas.
