During a videoconference, the president of CNAS, university conf. dr. Horațiu-Remus Moldovan, discussed with the directors of the 43 health insurance houses about the funding indicators for hospitals, emphasizing the importance of correcting the imbalances in the distribution of funds. Recent legislative changes allow for an analysis of hospital activities, which must decide on the reorganization of under-utilized departments.

Moldovan emphasized that hospitals must adapt to the current needs of patients and urged managers to step out of the administrative comfort zone. CNAS will provide support for the efficiency of hospitals, highlighting the need to avoid waste and to ensure proper treatments and quality medical supplies. He encouraged a responsible approach in managing public funds, considering the impact on patients' lives.
