He emphasized that, in the last decade, the amounts allocated for salary influences in the public health system have increased from 100 million lei to 17 billion lei, which can no longer be supported by the CNAS budget. Moldovan explained that the high salaries in the system are not compensated by the increase in rates per resolved cases, and hospitals need to adapt to the real needs of the population, avoiding situations where beds remain unoccupied. The reconfiguration will aim to optimize the structure of hospitals, without affecting the number of employees, considering the shortage of specialists in the field.
