The Ministry of Health announced on Friday that the National Vaccination Program is operating under normal conditions, with 49,000 doses of the MMR vaccine (measles-mumps-rubella) already available in doctors' offices.
Out of a total of 69,000 doses, the rest are in the stocks of public health departments. The Ministry has requested the departments to use the mechanism for redistributing doses between counties to ensure the continuity of vaccination. Future deliveries include 186,000 doses of the MMR vaccine on July 16, 170,000 doses of hexavalent vaccine at the end of July, and 170,000 doses of BCG vaccine at the end of August.
The Ministry constantly monitors the stocks and distribution of vaccines to guarantee children's access to immunizations without interruptions.
