According to the National Institute of Public Health, Romania reported 30 cases of West Nile virus infections between June 2 and September 18, most of which were confirmed through tests. The majority of cases were in Bucharest (10) and Galați (5), and elderly individuals are the most affected, with 15 patients aged 70-79. The INSP recommends preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection.
