Media, Education and Health are the areas that have propelled the ministers at the top of the ranking of the visibility of government members over the last week, according to data identified and analyzed with the help of NewsVibe, an AI media monitoring platform. The top reflects the presence of ministers in the conversation in the online space (with the exception of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, who has a much higher exposure), highlighting the frequency of mentions and their impact, as well as the topics that generated this exposure and the nuances of tone used in the digital space.
Diana Buzoianu (USR) leads the top of the government members present in the online conversation from July 30 to August 5. Her actions and comments on irregularities at the level of institutions under the authority of the Ministry of Environment (Romsilva, Apele Române) ensured her visibility, as well as the intense debates in the public space about her travels to the flood-affected areas of Suceava.
Second in the ranking is the Minister of Education, Daniel David, who is facing protests and has been asked to resign by unions. He is followed by Alexandru Rogobete (PSD), who stood out for his reaction in the scandal at the Floreasca Hospital - Burn Center, asking for the resignation of the management and starting an administrative control. The Social Democrat was also present in the public space and intervened on the issue of meals served to patients in hospitals.
Last in the ranking, with the lowest number of mentions, is the Minister of Culture, Demeter András.
Comparatively, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan (who is not included in the comparative measurement) received over 4,100 online mentions, far more than any of the ministers, but less than the sum of their mentions.

TRENDS IN MINISTERS' VISIBILITY The ministers at the top of the rankings all experienced an increase in online visibility compared to the previous measured range. The Minister Daniel David stands out, with an increase of more than 40% and a reflection in a predominantly negative context, the Minister Bogdan Ivan (PSD), with a consistent increase (approx. 160%), against the background of his public interventions on the cost of energy, and a rather positive context of mentions, but especially minister Dragoș Pîslaru (USR), with a significant boost in visibility (1000%), in the context of his presentation of the conclusions of the renegotiation of the PNRR, but also of his clarifications on the deadline Romania has set for the reform of special pensions.

BAROMETER PUBLIC TONE. Sentiment analysis highlights the deeply negative context in which Daniel David is mentioned; it's the tensions in the education system and his reaction after unions called for his resignation. Minister Ciprian Șerban (PSD) was also mentioned in a negative context, after press revelations that he, like Dragoș Anastasiu, had offered bribes to representatives of a forestry estate in the past. Institutions such as Romsilva or Apele Române, targeted by revelations and criticisms from the minister, have also been exposed in unfavorable contexts.
References in a positive context to ministers are reduced in frequency, but are still notable in the case of names such as Diana Buzoianu and Dragoș Pîslaru. Thematically, there were favorable mentions of suprastate actors such as EU and NATO.
The sentiment analysis performed by the NewsVibe platform is based on AI algorithms and LLM tools, which identify subtleties of tone in online content for each mentioned entity. In this case, the evaluation covers all references to Romanian government ministers.
