On Wednesday morning, at 5:53 AM, an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 occurred in Vrancea County, Romania, according to the National Institute for Earth Physics Research and Development (INCDFP). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 125.4 km and was located 48 km south of Focșani, 61 km south of Buzău, 64 km east of Sfântu-Gheorghe, 74 km east of Brașov, and 90 km northeast of Ploiești. This is the second significant earthquake in this area, following the most important quake of this year, with a magnitude of 4.5, which took place on February 26. Authorities are monitoring the situation and have not reported any damage or casualties as a result of this earthquake.
