Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu points to a serious environmental problem in Romania, with over 100,000 hectares threatened by desertification. During a visit to Dolj county, she underlined the importance of reforestation, supported by European funds from the PNRR. Buzoianu said her goal is to double the area reforested in the next year, given the financial opportunities available. She believes that protecting the environment is an act of genuine patriotism.
