Independent presidential candidate Victor Ponta says bot attacks on his social media accounts started after he presented economic measures. He suspects PSD and AUR of involvement, saying the bots are blocking Romanians' access to his posts. His team has noticed an increased number of fake followers from various countries, and TikTok has deleted more than 16,000 fake accounts. Nicușor Dan, another candidate, reported a similar situation, highlighting the authorities' lack of reaction.
