The application period for the partial elections on December 7, 2025 starts today. Applications for the position of general mayor can be submitted starting Wednesday.

Candidates from most localities can register their files, with the exception of those concerning the position of general mayor of the Capital and the president of the Buzău County Council, for which applications can be submitted starting from November 12. The elections will take place in constituencies such as the commune of Remetea (Bihor), the commune of Mihai Eminescu (Botoșani), and others.

The application submission period ends on November 17, and they must remain definitive until November 23. The electoral campaign will start on November 22 and will end on December 6, while the printing of the ballots is scheduled for December 2.
