INSCOP director Remus Ștefureac said Romania's next president could have the most powers in three decades, with the ability to appoint the prime minister of his choice and control the parliamentary majority. He underlines the risks associated with such a concentration of power, noting that recent political decisions have seriously affected the democratic balance and that the consequences will be felt by all Romanians.
