Rareș Bogdan, PNL's first vice-president, announced that the party has requested a recount of the votes for Vrancea County Council, motivating the request by the difference of less than one percentage point between PNL and PSD candidates. The PNL candidate was Dragos Ciobotaru, while the PSD candidate was Nicușor Halici.
