In an election debate on Antena 3, Nicușor Dan reaffirmed his promise that VAT will not be increased during his term in office, noting this commitment on a piece of paper. The statement follows one he made earlier on Digi24, where he emphasized that the state needs to become more efficient in collecting VAT at the current level. He also commented on the scenarios related to a possible VAT increase, assuring that, if he becomes president, such measures will not be implemented.
