Daniel Băluță, the PSD candidate for the Capital City Hall, stated in an interview that Bucharest 'looks bad' and urgently needs infrastructure modernization, mentioning that the water, gas, and sewage networks are very old and non-functional. He proposes investments in public transport, the extension of the metro network, and the completion of the ring road, the median ring, and the radials.

Băluță announced that the works for the M4 line will start soon. Regarding electric scooters, he suggests organizing a local referendum to consult the citizens. Concerning Cristian Popescu Piedone's support for his candidacy, Băluță stated that he respects every citizen's right to vote.
