Călin Georgescu went to vote on Constitution Day, even though the elections were canceled, declaring that 'people's vote was stolen' and that 'democracy was buried' in Romania.

Georgescu emphasized that his action is symbolic and spoke about the annulment of the fundamental values of the Romanian people. He also mentioned that the annulled vote does not annul freedom and referred to an alleged coup d'état by the CCR.
