The Ministry of Education and Research has announced the introduction of two new electives for middle school students, aimed at better preparing them for life. The first elective, 'Elements of Digital Media Education', intended for the 6th grade, focuses on developing essential skills to help young people navigate the increased volume of information in the digital environment.

The second elective, 'Education for Life: choose! act! inspire!', intended for 5th to 7th grades, uses interactive activities such as case studies, role-playing, and projects to develop students' responsibility and social engagement. This pedagogical approach also aims to shape a profile of the middle school graduate as an autonomous, responsible person capable of inspiring change in the community.
