In 2026, the Ministry of Education will implement two major reforms: the reorganization of county school inspectorates and the organization of competitions for school directors. Daniel David emphasized that the reorganization is an inevitable PNRR milestone, and consultations with directors and inspectors will begin soon. The aim of these efforts is to adapt the Romanian educational system to current needs, considering the diversity of administrative models. The competition for directors has been postponed to 2025, and the ministry will work on the necessary methodology for its conduct.
