The first decision of the new Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian: over 400 positions will be opened for competition for 23 kindergartens.

Mihai Dimian, the new Minister of Education and Research, stated that the Government has approved a memorandum for the recruitment of over 400 positions necessary for the operation of 23 kindergartens that are nearly completed. This is his first public statement after the first Government meeting.

The kindergartens, distributed in 18 counties, will be able to accommodate approximately 1,300 children, thus contributing to the expansion of infrastructure for early education. Dimian emphasized the importance of teaching, auxiliary, and administrative staff for the opening of these units. He also mentioned that the priorities of the Ministry are established in the government program approved in June 2025 and highlighted the need for better dialogue among all actors in education, including teachers, students, parents, and public administration.
