The new framework plans for secondary school propose a busier timetable of up to 33 hours a week if students choose all optional subjects

Under the Education Ministry's proposals, the timetable for high school students will be more crowded, with 3 days of 7 hours each and 2 days of 6 hours if they choose all optional. Compared to the current framework plans, which allocate 29 hours, the new proposals could lead to a total of 33 hours. These changes involve a restructuring of hours in the common core and an increased number of hours in the specialized curriculum, which will significantly affect the time spent at school.
