The admission exams for universities have begun, and the competition is higher than ever, especially in Psychology, where 21 candidates are fighting for a budget spot.
Young people have several options available, and fields such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry and foreign languages have grown in popularity. At ASE, for example, there are 14 candidates per spot in Law, and nearly 4.3 in Artificial Intelligence. The rector of ASE stated that this year is a record one, with 13% of high school graduates from across the country.
While some candidates feel confident, others are analyzing their options. At ASE, the written exam was only held for Cybernetics and Law, while for other faculties, the grades from the Baccalaureate counted. Students are preparing to experience student life in Bucharest, and the costs for state dormitories average 400 lei per month.
