Dragoș Pîslaru, Minister of Investment and European Funds, has launched an appeal to parents to use the 500 lei funds transferred to the education cards for the 2024-2025 school year, available until August 31. More than 670,000 children from vulnerable families have benefited from this support, but more than 10% of families have not yet used the amount, totaling about 33 million lei. The unspent money will be automatically withdrawn. The program will continue into the 2025/2026 school year.
