The interim Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian, announced on Tuesday the signing of the Ministerial Order that establishes the subjects and disciplines for the national Baccalaureate exam in 2030. These new rules will apply to students starting the 9th grade in 2026 and introduce a differentiated Baccalaureate model, adapted according to the profile and specialization of each student. The document has been sent for publication in the Official Monitor and approves the list of subjects and disciplines according to the Law on Pre-University Education no. 198/2023. Dimian emphasized that the changes are necessary to align the exam with the new school curricula and the educational path of students. The annex of the order details the tests for linguistic and digital competencies, common and differentiated written tests, as well as elective subjects for assessing basic competencies.
