The oral exams of the national Bacalaureate 2026, autumn session, will begin on August 3, according to the official calendar. The assessment of linguistic communication skills in Romanian will take place on August 3 and 4.
Minister Mihai Dimian sent a message of encouragement for students who did not pass the June-July session, emphasizing that the Bacalaureate offers a new chance in autumn. The assessment will be done on three levels of competence, and candidates will be evaluated by two teachers. Changing the exam ticket is prohibited, and students with disabilities may benefit from extra time.
The complete calendar includes the assessment of linguistic and digital skills, as well as written exams, with the final results being announced on August 24. The pass rate for the July session was 79.6%, the highest in the last 15 years.
