The Ministry of Education has published the results of the national assessment exam simulation, highlighting that almost one third of the evaluated papers in Romanian Language and Literature and Mathematics received grades below 5. Out of the 145,257 papers in Romanian, 30.13% were graded below 5, while 8.37% received grades between 9 and 10. In Mathematics, out of 144,399 papers, 34.54% had grades below 5, and 3.28% obtained grades above 9. The evaluation was carried out digitally, with the help of 9,854 evaluating teachers. The percentage of Romanian papers that required reevaluation increased to 9.78%, while in mathematics it remained constant at 0.1%. The results are not publicly displayed but communicated individually to the students. The Ministry of Education will publish a detailed analysis of the performances to implement improvement measures before the national exam.
