The Rabla program 2026 will maintain the conditions from the previous year. From 2027, only cars produced in the European Union will be eligible.

The Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests has announced the launch of the Rabla 2026 Program for individuals, similar to the 2025 session, with a total budget of 300 million lei.

The introduction of new criteria regarding the geographical origin of eligible vehicles will be postponed until next year, to avoid delays in launching the program. Minister Diana Buzoianu emphasized the importance of a quick launch to not affect beneficiaries and the automotive market. The value of the eco-vouchers remains the same as in the previous session: 18,500 lei for electric vehicles, 15,000 lei for plug-in hybrids, 12,000 lei for hybrids, and 10,000 lei for vehicles with thermal propulsion. The eligibility conditions will be maintained according to the guide approved in 2025. The Ministry will continue discussions with the European Commission to implement the desired criteria next year.
