Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna announces losses of €1.7 billion for the Environment Ministry from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Tanczos Barna, Romania's deputy prime minister, said that the Environment Ministry has lost about €1.7 billion of the funds available under the NRRP, reducing it from €3.7 billion to just €2 billion. Romanian waters have missed out on all proposed projects, losing more than €300 million. Barna stressed the importance of focusing on viable projects and said that accessing European funds is possible for Romanian authorities.
