The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, stated that it is essential to reach a consensus within the coalition by the end of November for the adoption of the magistrates' pension law, otherwise Romania could lose 231 million euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Manole explained that, in the case where a review is awaited from the CSM, the process could be significantly delayed, leaving very little time for the necessary procedures to be completed.

He emphasized that it is important to reach a consensus with the CSM, the High Court, and the magistrates to avoid financial losses. Additionally, Manole mentioned that this law was not discussed in the recent government meeting, but assured that the Ministry of Labor has closely collaborated with the Prime Minister and other institutions to advance the project.
