The lion appreciated on Wednesday against the euro and the Swiss franc, but decreased in relation to the dollar.

On Wednesday, Romania's national currency, the leu, appreciated slightly against the euro, being quoted by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) at 5.0953 lei, down by 0.01 bani compared to the previous quote.

In contrast, the leu decreased against the US dollar, which was quoted at 4.3250 lei, up by 0.19 bani (+0.04%) compared to Tuesday. Additionally, the leu appreciated against the Swiss franc, which was calculated at 5.5833 lei, down by 0.71 bani (-0.13%) compared to the previous quote. Regarding gold, the gram increased in price, reaching 719.6110 lei, compared to 718.5914 lei in the previous session.
