Andronache emphasized the importance of prosumers, mentioning that their number has increased to 267,000, with an installed capacity of 3,128 MW, reflecting significant progress in the energy sector. Additionally, 31,595 prosumers have installed storage capacities, allowing them to optimize their energy production for their own consumption. He highlighted that prosumers contribute to the stability of the energy system by introducing energy during peak consumption times.

On the other hand, the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, has submitted a complaint to the Constitutional Court regarding the amendments made to the Electricity and Natural Gas Law, contesting the way Parliament modified the law. Among the contested amendments are the reduction of the compensation threshold for produced energy, the introduction of a new right for small households to use the amounts obtained from compensation to pay gas bills, the extension of the right to sell energy, and the change of rules for prosumers with installations between 200 and 400 kW, who should sell the energy produced at a price set on the market.
