The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced that the 19th package of sanctions against Russia will include measures on cryptocurrencies and the energy sector. Additionally, the EU is considering sanctioning companies from China and India that support Russia in oil trade. This initiative comes amid pressures from U.S. President Donald Trump to accelerate the gradual phase-out of Russian oil. The final details of the sanctions remain unclear for now.
