The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that the budget for 2023 will be built on the basis of 20 billion euros coming from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), cohesion funds, the SAFE program for strengthening military power, and money allocated for agriculture. Pîslaru emphasized that the Ministry of Finance is working on clear scenarios, considering that the adoption of the legislative package is expected. Of the total amount, approximately 15 billion euros will come from the PNRR, while the remaining 5 billion euros will come from cohesion funds and the SAFE program. A large part of these funds are grants, and the aim is to reach this total amount by 2026.
