The Bucharest Stock Exchange opened Wednesday's session higher, with a turnover of 29.04 million lei. The BET index increased by 0.09%, while BET-Plus rose by 0.05%.

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday's session with an upward trend on most indices, recording a turnover of 29.04 million lei (approximately 5.55 million euros) after the first 45 minutes of trading.


The main index BET, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, appreciated by 0.09%, while the BET-Plus index, which includes the 43 most liquid stocks, increased by 0.05%. The BET-XT index, of the 25 most liquid titles, rose by 0.01%, and BET-BK had a similar increase.


However, the BET-FI index, which includes SIFs, decreased by 0.57%, and BET-NG, dedicated to the energy sector, recorded a decrease of 0.04%. The BETAeRO index, which includes companies from the AeRO market, gained 0.45%.


The largest increases in stocks were recorded by Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+8.74%), Comelf (+6.33%) and Carbochim (+4.13%), while the stocks of Promateris (-6.04%), BVB (-5.83%) and Condmag (-5.66%) recorded significant declines.
