The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) started Thursday's session with an upward trend, with the turnover reaching 18.3 million lei (approximately 3.6 million euros) after the first 35 minutes of trading. The main index BET, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 1.34%. Additionally, the BET-Plus index, which tracks the 43 most liquid stocks, rose by 1.31%. Other indices, such as BET-XT (1.27% increase) and BET-BK (1.07% increase), also had positive developments.
The BET-FI index of SIFs increased by 0.76%, while BET-NG, dedicated to the energy sector, recorded a growth of 1.19%. The largest increases in stock values were observed at Rompetrol Rafinare (+6.14%), Romcab (+4.76%), and Arobs Transilvania Software (+2.44%). In contrast, the shares of Carbochim (-1.38%), Bittnet Systems (-0.94%), and Erste Group Bank AG (-0.79%) recorded declines.
