The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed with an increase on Friday's trading session. The turnover reached 365 million lei.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, recorded an appreciation of 0.45%, reaching 34,099.45 points, while the BET-Plus index, which reflects the evolution of the most liquid stocks, increased by 0.44%. The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment funds, rose by 0.21%, while BET-NG, which measures companies in the energy sector, gained 1.13%. The extended BET-XT index advanced by 0.52%, and BET-FI, the SIF index, closed with an increase of 0.50%.


The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 37.2 million lei, followed by Hidroelectrica and Romgaz. The best performances were recorded by UAMT shares (+14.78%), Comelf (+6.84%) and Hidroelectrica (+6.02%), while the most significant declines were recorded by Teraplast (-3.13%), MedLife (-2.42%) and Socep (-2.27%).
