The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed mixed on Tuesday, with a turnover of 50.83 million lei. The most traded stocks were Hidroelectrica, Banca Transilvania, and OMV Petrom.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, recorded a slight depreciation of 0.02%, reaching 21,639.50 points. The BET-Plus and BET-XT indices had similar declines of 0.03% and 0.07%, respectively, while the SIF index, BET-FI, decreased by 0.07%. In contrast, the BET-BK index, which reflects the performance of investment funds, increased by 0.07%. The BET-NG index, dedicated to energy companies, fell by 0.18%, while BET AeRO had a significant advance of 1.78%. The most liquid stocks were those of Hidroelectrica, Banca Transilvania, and OMV Petrom. The largest increases were recorded by the stocks of Armătura (+12.15%), Mecanica Ceahlău (+11.58%), and Vrancart (+5.42%), while Bittnet Systems SA Bucharest, Rompetrol Rafinare, and Turbomecanica had the largest declines.
