The BET-TR index, which reflects the evolution of the prices of companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the reinvestment of dividends, reached a historic high of 50,158 points on October 8. The 36% increase since the beginning of the year underscores the solidity of the Romanian capital market. All stock indices recorded increases, with BET rising by 0.39% to 21,609.6 points. Electrica shares had the highest increase, at 4.8%, while MedLife recorded the largest decrease, at -2.08%.
