Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, stated that the applications for the Rabla program will begin after a 10-day transparency period, once the order is put up for public debate.

She mentioned that she is waiting for responses from the Competition Council and the Ministry of Development, and after receiving them, the order will be published. Regarding purchases, Buzoianu proposed that the vouchers be used only for cars manufactured or assembled in the European Union or in countries with agreements in the Mediterranean area, including the United Kingdom.

She also announced a limitation on the purchase of motorcycles and mopeds to 10% of the total budget. The Rabla program for local authorities will allow the purchase of a maximum of 5 or 6 cars per institution, instead of 25, and the program for legal entities is suspended until the necessary budget is identified.
