Sphera Franchise Group has acquired the Hard Rock Cafe franchise for Romania and Moldova, planning to open five restaurants between 2026-2031.

Sphera Group has obtained the franchise rights from Hard Rock International to open restaurants in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, through a new company, HRC Restaurants SRL. The development plan includes the opening of five Hard Rock Cafe restaurants in the cities of Brașov, Timișoara, Iași, Cluj, and Chișinău, starting in 2026 and continuing over the next five years.

Hard Rock Cafe, a renowned international brand, combines American culinary experiences with musical souvenirs and has been present in Romania since 2008. Sphera Franchise Group, the largest group in the food service industry in Romania, also owns other franchises such as KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell, with over 175 restaurants and approximately 5,000 employees.
