Sphera Franchise Group invests 130 million lei in expansion and digitalization. 11 restaurants will be opened in Romania.

Sphera Franchise Group announces an investment of approximately 130 million lei in 2026, with plans to open 21 new restaurants: 11 in Romania (eight KFC, two Taco Bell, and one Hard Rock Cafe), two in the Republic of Moldova (KFC and Taco Bell), and eight in Italy (three KFC and five Cioccolatitaliani).

The company will continue to invest in remodeling existing restaurants and in digitalization, implementing kiosk-type ordering solutions. Sales estimates for existing restaurants amount to 1.69 billion lei, a 7.6% increase compared to the previous year, while EBITDA is estimated at 160 million lei, an increase of 8.2%.

CEO Călin Ionescu emphasizes that the budget has been built prudently, considering the current economic uncertainties. Cost management remains a priority, with a stable share of expenses at 31.2% of the total.
