Columbus Operațional SRL, the company that operates the former Billa chain of stores acquired by Carrefour, recorded 2023 turnover of more than 1.2 billion lei, up 4% from 2022, and a net profit of 31.8 million lei, 82% above the previous year. This resulted in a net profit margin of 2.5%, the highest since 2016.
