Simtel has begun the construction of the largest photovoltaic park in Romania, located on a former industrial ash dump in Giurgiu, with an installed capacity of 52 MWp and an estimated annual production of 73 GWh. The project, which covers an area of over 83 hectares, benefits from a non-reimbursable funding of 60.6 million lei through PNRR and an investment loan of 16 million euros. It will deliver energy to the grid through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with G-Energy Solutions, ensuring a total amount of 736 GWh over the 10-year contract period.

The project is 80% completed and aligns with Simtel's strategy to become an electricity producer, considering that by 2026 the company will finalize eight photovoltaic parks, generating over 111 GWh of green energy annually. Simtel aims for operational revenues of 502.7 million lei for 2025, continuing to diversify its portfolio of products and services.
