In the first ten months of 2025, construction works increased by 10% compared to 2024, with notable increases in capital repairs and new constructions.

According to data from the National Institute of Statistics, the volume of construction works increased by 10% in the first ten months of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024. This increase was supported by major repair works, which recorded a 50% advance, and new constructions, with a growth of 7.7%. Maintenance and current repair works decreased by 3.7%. By types of construction, increases were observed in residential buildings (+12%), non-residential buildings (+10.8%), and engineering constructions (+8.9%). Compared to the previous month, the volume of works increased by 0.2%, but decreased by 2% in seasonally adjusted terms. Compared to October 2024, the volume of works increased by 13.8%, with a significant increase in major repairs (+40.1%) and new constructions (+17.1%).
