Israeli group Shikun and Binui, recently taken over by diamond trader Naty Saidoff, is expanding its activities in Romania, debuting in the renewable energy sector. The company has obtained an operating license for a 71 MW solar power plant in Satu Mare, and construction is complete. Once the license becomes active, the plant will be able to start selling electricity to the grid, strengthening the group's presence in Romania's real estate and energy market.
