Despite a decline in crude oil prices and refining margins, Shell reported an adjusted profit of $6 billion in Q3, above analysts' expectations. The company plans to repurchase $3.5 billion worth of shares and maintain its dividend at 34 cents per share. Shell's energy and renewable solutions business also made significant progress.
