Saudi Aramco giant's profit rose to 31.2 billion dollars in Q3 amid the war in Iran

Saudi Aramco reported adjusted net income of $31.2 billion in the third quarter of 2026, up 9% from the same period last year. The result, announced amid energy supply disruptions caused by the war in Iran, exceeded analysts’ estimates, which indicated average earnings of $30.66 billion.

The performance was mainly supported by the refining and distribution division, whose adjusted earnings before interest and taxes rose 234% to $10.3 billion. Refining margins increased amid supply difficulties in international markets.

CEO Amin Nasser warned that geopolitical uncertainties and attacks on energy infrastructure had heightened risks to global energy security. The company says it has maintained deliveries through operational flexibility and alternative routes and is assessing the expansion of storage capacity abroad.

Free cash flow rose to $28.2 billion, from $23.6 billion in the third quarter of 2025. The board approved a base dividend of $21.9 billion, 3.5% higher than a year earlier. Aramco also announced that its exploration and production projects are progressing on schedule, while investments in artificial intelligence continue through its 49% stake in HUMAIN.
