The company, founded in China, is looking to speed up the IPO process and improve its international image. Approval for a London listing would have been a major step, but supply chain issues and allegations of forced labor in Xinjiang have complicated the process. In addition, Shein faces investigations in the EU and possible regulation in the US and Europe, adding uncertainty to its future.
