Timișoara City Hall is looking for a company to provide it with up to 20 street sweepers per day, depending on its needs

Salubrizare Timișoara SRL, the city’s sanitation operator, is looking for a company to provide workers to sweep the streets, depending on daily needs. The company has launched a tender to procure these services, and the personnel will be paid based on the number of hours worked.

Under the future two-year framework agreement, SaluT will be able to request up to 20 street sweepers per day. The estimated value of the contract is 689,920 lei, excluding VAT, equivalent to more than €160,000 including VAT.

Interested companies can submit their bids by October 8. The contract is expected to provide the additional staff needed for street-cleaning activities, without the operator directly hiring the workers.

SaluT became operational in March 2025 and has more than 250 employees, although approximately 160 of them are directly involved in cleaning. Recently, the company purchased equipment worth approximately €7 million: sweepers, multifunctional equipment for watering, washing and snow removal, utility vehicles and various accessories.
