Romgaz has notified the termination of the contract with Duro Felguera for the construction of the thermal power plant in Iernut due to non-compliance with deadlines.

Romgaz Company announced on the BVB that it has sent the termination notice of the contract with Duro Felguera, responsible for completing the works at the thermal power plant in Iernut. The reason for the termination is the non-fulfillment of contractual obligations by the contractor, including delays in execution. The Board of Directors of Romgaz approved this decision on September 11, 2025, and the termination will take effect 31 days from the receipt of the notice by Duro Felguera.
