Romcarbon recorded a net loss of 3.75 million lei in H1/2025, but reported a profit in Q2, signaling a recovery.

In the first six months of 2025, Romcarbon reported a net loss of RON3.75 million, but recorded a profit of RON1.2 million in Q2, a significant improvement on last year. Losses were influenced by the depreciation of the leu, but strategic restructurings have started to show their effects. Various divisions had mixed performances, with increases in polypropylene and polystyrene. The company continues to invest in technology and modernization to increase efficiency and profitability.
