The Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, announced the resumption of the "Women Entrepreneur" program, aimed at supporting businesses led by women, for which thousands of applications have already been submitted.

The process will not restart from scratch, but will continue from the stage where it was blocked, after there was previously no funding.

The program offers grants of up to 200,000 lei for approximately 1,000 businesses, and between April 27 and 30, the rejection decisions will be communicated, which can be contested. Meanwhile, the evaluation of the applications will continue until the final lists are established and the funding contracts are signed.

The authorities emphasize that the resumption of the program was made possible after securing the budgetary framework for 2026, and the objective is to support female entrepreneurship and complete the projects already started.
